        For those that have been involved in Angus Cattle for years, howdy!  For those

that are new to the breed we congratulate you in acquiring one of the finest beef

cattle available.

          To participate in junior shows in Washington you must be a member of the

Washington Junior Angus Association (WJAA).   In addition, you are required to be a

member of the American Junior Angus Association (NJAA).  Washington Junior Angus

membership form may be printed here.  The NJAA membership application form may be

found at www.angus.org . 

        Washington State Junior Associations provide each year six sponsored

shows, a field day, a steer futurity and every three years host the NW Regional Preview

Junior Angus Show.  There are many junior activities sponsored at fairs, shows, and by the

National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) that you may be eligible to participate in.  Junior

activities provide an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about Angus Cattle,

make new friends, tone important communication skills, gain experience in a variety of

situations, opportunities for scholarships, and most important have fun.

         Running a smooth association requires effort from many people.  The Washington

Junior Angus Association is non-profit and is supported totally through the efforts of volunteers

and donations.  Come join the fun.  We look forward to working with you and promoting our

Juniors and their Angus beef cattle.
