Chelse and Chance Forman would like to personally invite you to the 2008 Northwest Junior Livestock Sale being held Sunday, April 20th, 10:00am at the Puyallup Fairground.
Hi, I'm Chelse Forman and this is my brother Chance. First and foremost I would like to thank you for your support of the Northwest Junior Livestock Sale and all of it exhibitors. This year my brother and I each have one steer in the sale. But before I give you our sales pitch I would like to tell you a little about myself. I am 16 years old and currently a sophomore at Kittitas High School, in a little town about six miles west of Ellensburg. Nest year I plan to attend Central Washington University in their Running Start program. While in this program I will complete the required courses to receive my Associates degree by the end of my Senior year in high school. If all goes well, I will receive my Associates degree about a month before my high school graduation.
The love of my life is my horse. I have been showing in the 4-H program for four years and now I'm working on my fifth. This year I will also be showing my Quarter Horse Gelding at a few shows on the open show circuit.
All four of us kid also show steer at our county fair every fall. I have been participating in this for seven years and have been showing cattle with my Grandpa since I was five.
Chance is 13 years old and enjoys raising and showing his steers and breeding females, playing football, and riding dirt bikes. He began showing when he was very young, and has been working with and around the cattle since he could walk. He halter-broke and raised his first "very-own" heifer "Sis" two years ago. Last year she had a heifer calf named Starburst that helped lead Chance to the winner's circle at the Puyallup Fair. This year his second heifer, Babe, had a heifer calf, we like to call Annabelle. Last fall, Chance's football team finished fourth in the Grid Kid Season.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and we would greatly appreciate your support. Hope to see you at the sale!
